Toronto police say they are investigating two separate stabbing incidents.
The first incident occurred outside of a bar in the Coxwell Avenue and Gerrard Street East area at around 7:26 p.m., police said.
Police said they were called to the area for a report of a fight between two men– and that a man had been stabbed.
Officers found a man suffering from stab wounds at the scene. Police said he has serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
TORONTO Toronto police say they now believe that a man who died after being found on a roadway in Scarborough earlier this month was struck by a vehicle. On June 13, police were called to the area of Victoria Park and Finch avenues for reports of a man seen on the roadway at around 12:15 p.m. The man was found by a passerby in the southwest corner of the intersection, police said. The man was conscious but unable to communicate with emergency responders, according to police. Paramedics transported the man to hospital with unknown injuries. A short time later, the man succumbed to his injuries in hospital, police said.

Toronto police were called to the Islamic Institute of Toronto near Finch Avenue East and Neilson Road shortly before noon. According to police, two people believed to be under the influence of illicit drugs tried to gain entry into the mosque and made threats to staff there.
