HALIFAX Two men from Enfield, N.S. have been charged with several child pornography offences. Nova Scotia RCMP say on Feb. 4, the RCMP’s Provincial Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit arrested a 35-year-old man and searched a home in Enfield after receiving a complaint. Carlos Ayapal Gonzalez Moraga, 35, of Enfield, has been charged with the following offences: Sexual Interference making an agreement to commit a sexual offence against a child As a result of the investigation into Moraga, on Feb. 7, the ICE Unit arrested a 47-year-old man and searched a home in Enfield and a business in Halifax. Peter Alan Moorhouse, 47, of Enfield, has been charged with the following offences:
Border Patrol agents arrest child sex offender in group of 30 immigrants in the country illegally
Eril Lainez-Corea, a 29-year old Honduran national had been arrested in 2018, convicted of Sexual Offense Against a Child-Fondling in Wauseon, Ohio.

LAREDO, Texas A child sex offender in the US illegally has been arrested, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said in a news release.
On Feb. 3, a CBP unmanned aircraft spotted a large group of people walking in the brush southwest of Hebbronville.

Agents, along with Laredo Sector Horse Patrol Unit, Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Air Asset, and a CBP Air Unit, responded and caught 30 individuals all found to be in the country illegally. They were all determined to be from the countries of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.

Both child sex offenders are being held by the U.S. Border Patrol pending prosecution of their immigration violations.

FREER, Texas Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents from the Freer station recently stopped a human smuggling attempt and arrested two child sex offenders in the same traffic stop, a press release from US Customs and Border Protection.
Agents pulled over a commercial truck that was going down Highway 59 near Freer and found 119 people being smuggled in the back, officials said.
