First, some background. Plaintiffs (various trucking companies) sued Totally Quality Logistics (a freight brokerage firm that connects its customers to freight carriers) in the wake of a data event. In the course of providing its brokerage services, Defendant acquired personal and financial information on many of the carriers such as social security numbers, tax identification numbers, bank account numbers, and invoice information. PARMA, Ohio The Chick-fil-A in Parma officially opens its doors actually, due to COVID-19, its drive-thru only to start tomorrow (Jan. 21).
Normally the opening of the popular fast food restaurant involves its “First 100” event, which finds the first 100 customers who camp out receiving a grand prize of one Chick-fil-A Sandwich Meal per week for a year. However, this year, nothing is normal.
“Obviously with COVID we didn’t want to attract large crowds,” Chick-fil-A Parma Executive Director of Operations Jacob Roman said.
“We just really wanted to focus on the safety of our team members and guests, so we decided to partner with Chick-fil-A corporate to actually make a ‘Community Heroes’ program where we recognize people who have gone above and beyond in our community during these unprecedented times.”
