PM slams Chappell
ââAt a minimum, Greg Chappell should apologise,â the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, said yesterday. Sundayâs underarm incident mixed cricket and politics to an extent not seen since the Bodyline series threatened to cause a rift with London. Mr Fraser said Chappellâs order to his brother to bowl underarm was a âvery serious mistakeâ that did more damage to relations with New Zealand than the argument over the Free Trade Agreement.â
