Traffic Police launches drive against unruly two & four-wheelers

JAMMU, July 13: In order to curb the menace of traffic violations, Traffic Police City Jammu launched drive against unruly two and four-wheelers.
The drive was launched under the supervisions of Dr Koshal Kumar Sharma, SSP Traffic City Jammu along with Pardeep Singh ASP Traffic, Shivali Kotwal DySP (T) North, Sunil Singh DySP (T) South, Neeraj Paddyar DySP (T) City Rural, DTIs and SOTs.
Besides, a number of vehicles have been booked under various visible offences like without crash helmets, safety belts, jumping traffic lights, use of mobile phones while driving, triple ridings, over speeding etc. in which innocent human lives are directly involved.

JAMMU, Jan 18: Series of activities were held across Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to mark the beginning of National Road Safety Month.
The day witnessed inaugural functions, walkathons and awareness rallies organized by respective district administrations.
JAMMU: The 32nd National Road Safety Month was today inaugurated by Transport Commissioner, J&K Pardeep Kumar, with the flagging off a Walkathon-cum-Awareness Rally, here at Gulshan Ground.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic Jammu, Shiv Kumar Sharma was the guest of honour on the occasion.
