Central Kentucky Community Foundation, the philanthropic focal point of the region serving Breckinridge, Grayson, Hardin, Hart, LaRue, Marion, Meade, Nelson and Washington counties, recently welcomed four new members to its board of directors.
Drew Ballard, John Beavin, Ed Durnil and Greg Lee were recently were installed as members at a CKCF board meeting.
CKCF Board Chairman Lindsey Alicna said the four newest members were selected because they are community leaders and champions who elevate philanthropy in the region.
⢠Drew Ballard is the vice-president and commercial loan officer with Wilson & Muir Bank and prior to his current position, he worked at Abound Credit Union, formerly Fort Knox Credit Union, for seven years. He is a graduate of Bardstown High School and the University of Louisvilleâs College of Business and Public Administration.

Thirteen Gatton Academy seniors learned recently they are candidates for the 2021 United States Presidential Scholars Program.
The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program was established in 1964 by Executive Order of the President to recognize and honor some of the nation s most distinguished graduating high school seniors.
The 2021 candidates for the U.S. Presidential Scholar from The Gatton Academy are:
Sachi Barnaby (Bowling Green High School), daughter of Jerry and Masako Barnaby, from Bowling Green.
Samuel Chang (Bowling Green High School), son of Yining Chen and Nianchu Chang, from Bowling Green.
Andrew R. Davison (Rowan County Senior High School), son of Rebecca and Scott Davison, Morehead.
