HANCOCK Come join us on Feb. 20 from 1to 4 p.m. at the Glad Tidings Church in Hancock. Glad Tidings is at 601 Ingot St. near the Hospital.
This will be a community wide outdoor event free for families. We will have Sledding, Bonfires to stay warm, and Dog Sled rides. The Mushing Club at Michigan Tech will be providing the Dog Sled rides.
Registration will be in the church parking lot. Parents are encouraged to stay with their children. Please bring your own sleds, we have several available for use for those that don’t have a sled. Children wanting a Dog Sled ride will be assigned a number upon registration. They can go sledding, stay warm by the bonfires, and play games while they wait their turn for the dog sled. The Dog Sled trail will extend across our property and use the Barkell Elementary School’s existing trails as well.
