Laois Offaly nature podcasts take flight with Birdwatch Ireland experts

A new podcast series documenting nature as it springs back to life for 2021, has been launched by BirdWatch Ireland in partnership with Laois and Offaly County Councils.
“In your Nature” will be anchored by Laois native Ricky Whelan, Project Officer with BirdWatch Ireland, and the well-known media voice of Niall Hatch, Development Officer with BirdWatch Ireland.
It is part of a series of nature events underway by The Heritage Office of Laois County Council. The campaign – called Nature is good for You, part of the Healthy Ireland “Keep Well” campaign.

The Heritage Office of Laois County Council has launched a campaign to help get people connected with nature, as part of the Government’s “Keep Well” Campaign.
The campaign starts with an online Gardening for Biodiversity workshop on Thursday, February 18, the relaunch of the Gardening for Biodiversity book and will continue in March with a new “Spring into Heritage” activity sheet in English and Irish and the launch of a new nature podcast in partnership with BirdWatch Ireland.
