NEW DELHI: India has the third highest number of billionaires in the world with 19 new additions during the year 2020, according to the billionaires list released by Forbes.
The report also said that the total number of Indian billionaires rose to 140 this year from 102 last year and their combined wealth nearly doubled to 596 billion dollars.
While Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos topped the global for fourth year in a row, Reliance Industries (RIL) chief Mukesh Ambani became the richest person in Asia again and ranked number 10 on the global list.
