We know it can be overwhelming deciding what to tackle, so we pared down that list to some Delaware-centric activities you ll want to put on your summer bucket list, Delaware style.
Funnel Cake at the beach
There’s nothing like nibbling on fried dough topped off with powdered sugar, while you re listening to the sound of crashing waves. Sure, you could eat funnel cake any time of the year, but it hits differently when you’re near saltwater, surrounded by a bunch of strangers with a sweet tooth and an attitude.

We already know major events like Firefly, the Delaware State Fair and the Freeman Arts Pavilion shows plan to return this summer. But there are other favorites you might ve overlooked.
Then again, some popular events aren t returning this summer due to COVID-19.
We ll start with the bad news first. The plug has been pulled on the Middletown Old-Tyme Peach Festival. The event attracted about 27,000 guests in 2019, according to middletownpeachfestival.com.
