Christmas came early at the Metcalfe Street Juvenile Remand Centre as executive members of the Centre were presented with six television sets and 30 pairs of all-terrain shoes from the Guardian Group Foundation.
The New Year looks bright for the boys at the Metcalfe Street Juvenile Remand Centre, who received a donation of six televisions and over 30 pairs of all-terrain shoes valued at over $440,000 from the Guardian Group Foundation.
The initiative by the staff of Guardian Life Limited was fuelled by the holiday spirit and brought Christmas cheer on Wednesday, December 23 to the wards of the remand Centre.
