Vanessa Ann Calderon, 29 of Galt passed away surrounded by loved ones on February 27, 2021 after a fierce and courageous battle with lung cancer.
Vanessa was born on August 1st, 1991 in Lodi, CA. Vanessa was an avid soccer player from 4 years of age, she played on multiple competitive teams and into highschool. Vanessa started coaching in highschool and continued coaching many years after that.
Vanessa graduated from Galt High School in 2009. From highschool she attended and graduated from a medical assisting program, and worked in that field until she decided to further her education in UltraSound Technology. Vanessa had successfully completed the program with the exception of her externship, due to her being diagnosed with lung cancer.
