Blood bank low on supply, calls for public donations » Borneo Bulletin Online

April 4, 2021 Izah Azahari The Ministry of Health is calling on the public to help replenish blood reserves at the Blood Donation Centre at Raja Isteri Pengiran Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital. The Blood Donation Centre is currently low in blood supply and requires all blood types for the use of blood transfusions at all government hospitals said the Ministry of Health in a press release. A number of public blood donation drives will be held next week, organised by various government departments and local communities. A blood donation drive will be held at Atria Simpur Hall, Public Works Department on April 6 from 9am to 11am. Another drive will be held at the multipurpose hall of the Fire and Rescue Department Headquarters on April 10 from 9am to noon.

PUNCH emerges ITF Best in Human Resources Development

Punch Newspapers Sections Daud Olatunji, Abeokuta It was yet another day of glory for PUNCH Newspaper on Monday as it was awarded the Best in Human Resources Development by the Industrial Training Fund. The newspaper was awarded alongside Coca Cola and Babcock University which got the Best in Training Contribution and Best in Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) respectively, at the one-day 2020 interactive forum with stakeholders, organised by the ITF in Abeokuta, Ogun State on Monday. PUNCH was announced the best at training its staff, as well as maintaining good relationship between staff and management of the organisation in the year under review.
