PRAYAGRAJ: Preparations were in full swing in the Sangam City to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid) which is on July 21. People of muslim community were seen making hectic purchases in the local markets, especially of the old city area, and the Ulemas and Imams have requested people to follow all the guidelines laid down under Covid-19 pandemic.
“We have requested everyone in our locality to follow all the norms and not many people should come to masjid to offer namaz but rather they should pray in their homes. At the same time, Qurbani (sacrifice) should be done in homes only”, said maulana Ekramul Haque Azhari of the Harwara masjid.
