High School All-American Game top performers Share 4:07 AM UTC share-square-354247 DENVER The second High School All-American Game, run by Major League Baseball and USA Baseball, was won by the American League, 8-3, but there were impressive performances from both teams from the top high school players from 2022 Draft class. That’s what exhibitions like this are about anyway, right? Many of these players will be mainstays on the showcase circuit this summer and some will end up playing for the U.S. 18U National Team in international competition this fall. While one game doesn’t dictate next year’s Draft stock, how these players follow up their performances over the rest of the summer will help teams formulate their follow lists for 2022.

Bracken Healy Passaic Valley High School superintendent for

View Comments The Passaic Valley Board of Education on Tuesday appointed Bracken Healy its new superintendent for the regional high school. He s replacing JoAnn Cardillo, who is retiring at the end of the school year and has served as superintendent since 2015.  Healy is taking over July 1 after stepping down as principal of Clifton s Woodrow Wilson Middle School, one of the city s two middle schools and with a student population that is slightly larger than PV s campus in Little Falls. Before hiring Healy, PV s trustees had expressed their desire to find a superintendent who will keep its students, who are fed into the regional district from Totowa, Woodland Park and Little Falls, from leaving for other schools.

(Courtesy Universal Technical Institute) WAYNE, NJ Two Wayne high school students won the grand prize at Universal Technical Institute s recent Top Tech Challenge. In addition to bragging rights, the duo also won themselves full UTI scholarships. Ryan McVeigh, Wayne Hills, and James Lee, Wayne Valley beat out 17 other two-person teams from high school vocational and automotive programs from New York and New Jersey over two weekends. Those teams competed for up to $300,000 in scholarships using in-demand automotive technology skills and knowledge.
