Tuesday, May 25th 2021 Singtel has become the first mobile services provider in SIngapore to launch a 5G Standalone (SA) network which has twice the responsiveness compared to 4G. Singtel, one of Asia s largest communications technology groups, has 700 million mobile customers in 21 countries. Within a year of receiving its 5G licence, Singtel has now launched 5G SA and installed 5G sites across Singapore in key areas like Orchard Road and Marina Bay.
