Nevada County police blotter: Customer makes threats after cut off from buying liquor

Friday 7:34 a.m. A 911 caller near McKnight Way reported a woman talking to herself, falling and bleeding on the back of her head. 7:41 p.m. A caller near Dorsey Drive reported a possible traveling nurse that was fired waving his hospital badge at passing drivers. 10:25 p.m. A caller near Joerschke Drive and East Main Street reported a vehicle hit a bicyclist and the cyclist broke his leg. Saturday 1:44 p.m. A 911 caller near East Main Street reported a driver in a two-door Honda Accord who purchased whiskey three times. After they attempted to purchase a bottle of Fireball for the fourth time and was refused, the subject made threats to the business employee.

Grass Valley Police Department Wednesday 12:47 a.m. A caller from the 400 block of West Main Street reported the upstairs neighbors were playing loud music and pounding and thumping on the walls and floor for the past 90 minutes. 5:48 a.m. A caller from an undisclosed location reported three people outside kicking the door, with someone trying to get inside at one point. 12:58 p.m. A caller from Condon Park reported the theft of items, including two backpacks. Some of the items were recovered. 1:12 p.m. A caller from a business in the 6700 block of Maltman Drive reported the attempted theft of a battery from a truck. Extra patrols were requested.

Dickson Council meeting: Future senior building buy finalized, mayor says Submitted, Nashville Tennessean At the Dickson City Council meeting Monday, Mayor Don Weiss Jr. informed the council that on Dec. 17 the city completed the closing of the $4 million loan through the Tennessee Mutual Bond Fund approved by the council to fund construction of Dickson Fire Department Station No. 3 at the corner of Highway 70 East and Ridgecrest Drive and renovations to the former Dickson Athletic Club to become the new Dickson Senior Center.  Weiss said the city completed the purchase of the club for $1.75 million on Dec. 30. Also at the meeting, the council voted on a request from Bill Hostettler and Darrell James to rezone a portion of one parcel from R-1 (low-density residential) and B-3 (highway commercial) to R-3 (high-density residential) and a portion of another parcel from B-3 to R-3 on Highway 46 South and Nails Creek Road.
