The former treasurer of a Cottonwood business organization was arrested on suspicion of defrauding the organization of more than $100,000 in 2018.
After several years on the run, Traci Koelzer was arrested in Oakland County, Michigan, and was extradited back to the Yavapai County Detention Facility, according to a statement released Wednesday by the Cottonwood Police Department.
A concerned citizen provided law enforcement information on Koelzer s whereabouts, and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Taskforce arrested her, the statement said.
Koelzer was identified as a suspect in defrauding the Old Town Association out of more than $100,000.
