Northern pubco the Inn Collection Group has added a 21
st site to its portfolio in the form of art deco site the Park Hotel at North Tyneside’s Longsands beach.
The growing pub group – which boasts sites in Northumberland, County Durham, Teesside, Yorkshire, Cumbria, Lancashire and Wearside – completed on the 53-bedroom venue in an undisclosed deal.
“We are absolutely delighted to be welcoming the Park into our pubs with rooms family,” managing director of the Inn Collection Group Sean Donkin said. “With its location alongside one of the UK’s most popular beaches and proximity to Newcastle-upon-Tyne, it’s a great fit with our brand, offering customers stunning places to eat, drink, sleep and explore from in outstanding locations across Northern England.

Adventure Bar Group takes first steps outside London heartland
Experiential cocktail bar company, the Adventure Bar Group, has unveiled a pair of landmark venues in Birmingham – its first steps beyond its London heartland.
The group now operates 12 sites across London and Birmingham, including branded bars Tonight Josephine, Bar Elba, Blame Gloria and The Escapologist.
Led by founders Thomas Kidd and Tobias Jackson, the Group debuted the first of two new sites on Monday 12 April with the launch of an outdoor bar and dining concept Luna Springs in Digbeth before the opening of second site, Tonight Josephine, in Birmingham’s city centre in May.
London-based, late-night operator Adventure Bar Group is to take its cocktail bar brand Tonight Josephine to Birmingham for its first bricks and mortar opening outside of the capital.
Tonight Josephine, which currently has sites in Waterloo and Shoreditch, will open on Stephenson Street in Birmingham, next to Grand Central station. It s currently expected to launch on 17 May, pending the easing of lockdown restrictions on indoor hospitality settings.
Alongside the launch of its new outdoor bar and entertainment space Luna Springs on the former Digbeth Arena site in Birmingham this week, the new opening marks a major step in Adventure Bar Group to expand its presence beyond the capital.
