CAMBRIDGE, MD.- Behind three interceptions by Shareef Curry and two touchdowns on the ground from Graham Hadaway, the Easton Warriors defeated Cambridge 24-0 to finish the season at 5-0. The loss drops the Vikings to 4-2 to end the spring season.
It was a rematch of last seasons instant classic, a double OT 40-34 Easton victory to end the regular season. The Warriors came into the afternoon sitting at 4-0 and the only undefeated team in the Bayside. The Vikings at 4-1, their only loss a tough one to Kent Island in week three.
It was a defensive affair early, the teams trading interceptions. Cambridges Tayon Fletcher picking off Ryan O’Connor on the games opening drive, then Shareef Curry stepping in front of a John Henry pass in the back of the end zone for a touchback. President-elect Joe Biden’s 2020 election win certified by Congress
Congress was forced to abruptly halt its session on counting Electoral College votes won by President-elect Joe Biden as supporters of President Donald Trump swarmed the U.S. Capitol. But the counting resumed, and Biden’s win was certified.
The Howard University and University of Delaware marching bands will be performing at the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on Jan. 20, according to both universities.
Howard University’s marching band, called the Showtime Marching Band, also plan to have a special drum performance for the inaugural parade to celebrate one of their own alumni being sworn in as the vice president.
