SHAME: Disgusting Chris Hayes Cynically Exploits Miami Building Collapse in Climate Rant

Font Size Chris Hayes, like most extreme leftists at MSNBC, has a long history of using hyperbolic rhetoric to panic people into going along with their radical agenda. (He also has a reputation of being wrong a lot on these topics.) On Monday night’s episode of All In, Hayes did his best to live up to his network’s standards by fear-mongering over climate change, and the lack of climate infrastructure spending in the bipartisan infrastructure deal.  Hayes ranted about how hot it was in Portland and how that was evidence of climate change. (Can someone please buy Chris Hayes a calendar? It s almost July!) The unhinged MSNBC host cynically tried to use the Surfside collapse in Miami to promote his extreme climate agenda.

Winners of 2021 Solar Decathlon Design and Build Challenges Construct Houses for a Cleaner Future

Copy The United States Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm announced the winners of the 2021 U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Solar Decathlon, a competition that challenges architecture and engineering college students from around the world to design and construct high-performance buildings powered by renewable energy. 72 competing teams hailed from 12 countries and designed energy-efficient residential and commercial spaces, nine of which were constructed and presented in the Solar Decathlon Virtual Village on the National Mall, a first of its kind, in Washington, D.C. The Solar Decathlon aims to promote student innovation, STEM education, and workforce development opportunities in the architecture and construction industry. The competition has been ongoing since 2002, and since then, more than 20,000 students have shared their innovative concepts. The Decathlon is divided into two separate challenges: The Design Challenge is a one-to-two-semester, design-only competition, whi

Secretary Granholm Announces Winners of Solar Decathlon Design and Build Challenges

Our fight against the climate crisis is a lot like a decathlon, with all kinds of individual contests we need to get through and we can t win unless we do well in them all, said Secretary Granholm. Today s decathletes are tomorrow s architects and engineers who are going to help us achieve President Biden s ambitious and achievable clean energy goals and build our net-zero future. I can t wait to see their big ideas come to life in neighborhoods across the country and around the world. According to DOE analysis, buildings currently account for approximately 74% of electricity use, 39% of total energy use, and 35% of carbon emissions in the United States. There are more than 125 million buildings in the nation that need retrofits to achieve the Administration s goal of net-zero emissions by 2050 which President Biden s American Jobs Plan proposes to address. The Solar Decathlon supports a key strategy to bring that vision to life, by building a pipeline of energy-savvy workers p

Brown Bag Branch Series-Foreign Area Officer Panel

March 4, 2021 A virtual panel. This Thursday on Mar 4, 2021 12:30 we will be welcoming a virtual panel of Foreign Area Officers to speak with our Cadets and the student body.   “The intent is two-fold: First, to connect cadets with officers that have recent tactical or operational experiences that will better educate them on their future careers. Second, it is an open forum that any student on campus can attend in order to bridge the civil-military gap in our society by presenting the Army experience to populations that may never hear that story. We utilize Zoom as the format for this as a way to encourage participation from the student body- think of being a guest speaker in a college lecture hall. I am hopeful that many non-cadets will be interested; even if they do not join the Army they may have aspirations to work in an embassy in another capacity and this is a great opportunity to bridge the civil-military gap.”
