The Quezon City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU) has started the mega swab testing in five areas of Barangay Old Balara on Monday, May 31.
The CESU will test all residents in the area regardless if they lined up or not for the food distribution.
This, after the food distribution program of Councilor Franz Pumaren on Tuesday, May 25 reportedly violated health protocols.
According to the report of DZBB, the CESU is targeting to finish the “mega swab test” in two days if all residents will cooperate.
The CESU will use rapid antigen test and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test.
