Scott Frost is gearing up for an important fall at Nebraska after starting his tenure in Lincoln with a few disappointing seasons in a row. The Cornhuskers head coach has found himself squarely on the hot seat before the 2021 season has kicked off after winning just 12 games in his first three years at the helm.

Trev Alberts is the new athletic director for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, rejoining his alma mater. In one of his first acts on the job, he’s issuing a message to Husker Nation.
Taking to Twitter for the first time on his newly-created account (@TrevAlberts), Alberts quoted his former coach Tom Osborne in accepting the service the school wants him to provide. He said he was honored to begin working with Nebraska student-athletes and said he’s ready to start.

Childress is ready for the next chapter of his career as director of player development at Nebraska. He returns to Lincoln after a successful 16-year run as head coach at Texas A&M.
Childress compiled 622 wins as the Aggies head baseball coach, as well as two College World Series appearances. As the Huskers pitching coach under
Dave Van Horn, Childress was a part of all three of Nebraska’s CWS trips.
