The Ministry of Interior of Egypt in partnership with Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS), the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and UN Office of Counterterrorism (UNOCT) hosted a high-level regional training workshop on the use of biometrics and traveler information to enhance border security capacities. The three-day workshop was hosted by the Ministry of Interior’s Police Academy in Cairo between 27 to 29 July 2021 and chaired by General Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Assistant Minister of Interior and President of the Police Academy as well as Mr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Alharfash NAUSS Vice President for External Relations.
