Changes to Island s Covid regulations clarified
Changes to the Island s Covid-19 regulations have now come into force.
They were approved in Tynwald earlier this week and impact travel restrictions and testing and isolation.
Testing and isolation for children arriving on Island
Children aged 5-11 are now exempt from testing and isolation when travelling so long as they have no Coronavirus symptoms.
Those aged 12-17 will continue to undergo isolation and testing, with tests for this age group free of charge.
Travelling from green and amber list countries
People from countries on England s green list will now be allowed to visit the Island so long as they are fully vaccinated; they won t have to self isolate or have a test on arriving.
Reduction in self-isolation for April travellers New rules applied retrospectively
People who travelled to the Isle of Man before the border level changed will have their self-isolation period reduced.
New Public Health regulations, approved by Tynwald yesterday, can be applied retrospectively to those who came to the Island before May 1.
It means anyone who was in isolation at 12.01 on Friday, 30 April can now benefit from seven days isolation instead of 14.
They will also be eligible to claim a partial refund on their Covid-19 tests after the price of a test dropped from £50 to £30 in line with the borders dropping to Level 3.
