The West Palm Beach Director of Public Utilities, Dr. Poonam Kalkat, said they won’t be able to lift the water advisory until they receive results back from recent water samples and in order to speed up the process, they asked for help from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s department. “Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office has a small plane that we are going to be able to have our lab manager fly out to Tallahassee,” Kalkat said. The City of West Palm Beach issued a water advisory Friday and started treating the water after elevated levels of a toxin produced by cyanobacteria also known as blue-green algae were detected in the water treatment plant.“Because we were proactively doing a sample even past our monthly sampling that we were able to find something and as soon as we found it, confirmed it we started working on getting advisories out,” Kalkat said. Car found in Florida pond belongs to missing man
A car was seen in a retention pond in the Bayside Lakes Subdivision near Sawgrass Drive in Palm Bay, Florida on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. The water in the pond had dropped over the last few weeks exposing the car.
The Palm Bay Police Department dive team went in to retrieve the car. The plates came back to a man that has been missing since 2009.
Nothing was stated whether a body was found in the car.
A cursory look at NAMUS shows Philippe Desir went missing from Palm Bay on February 7, 2009 driving a silver 2002 Mustang.

Today’s Monday morning recap starts in Orlando, FL, federal courtroom where disgraced Seminole County tax collector Joel Greenberg plead guilty to six federal charges including sex trafficking of a minor, fraud, identity theft, bribery, and conspiracy against the US government. The DOJ has decided to drop the remaining 33 charges as part of the agreement while Greenberg has promised his “full cooperation” with any other investigations on his former allies.
If Rep. Matt Gaetz has any functioning brain cell left, he should be very concerned by this update. This means that Greenberg has given authorities every go ahead on their investigation on Gaetz regarding his role in the sex-trafficking scandal that alleges he also slept with at least 15 women and paid them for their services, including a 17-year-old girl.
