Husband charged with murder of missing wife in Colorado is also charged with voter fraud for filling out her ballot

A Colorado man who was recently charged with murder in the disappearance of his wife a year ago has also been charged with voter fraud for voting for Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election using his wife’s mail-in ballot, according to an affidavit.
Barry Lee Morphew last week was charged with murder, tampering with physical evidence and attempting to influence a public servant in connection with the death of his wife, Suzanne Morphew.
Suzanne was reported missing on May 10, 2020.

Justice Rita B. Garman and the Supreme Court of Illinois have announced the appointment of Carla E. Barnes as an at-large Circuit Court Judge in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. Barnes will be the first African-American judge in the Eleventh Circuit.
Barnes is being appointed to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Scott D. Drazewski on Dec. 31, 2020. The appointment takes effect on Feb. 11, 2021, and will conclude on Dec. 5, 2022, when the vacancy will be filled by the winner of the November 2022 general election.
