SIOUX FALLS, S.D. The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation will host its annual LEAP Leadership Conference July 16-17 in Sioux Falls, S.D., and Bemidji’s Dick Beardsley is set to be a keynote speaker.
The conference is designed to raise awareness of agriculture issues, provide advocacy tools and enhance networks, leadership skills and professional development, a release said.

ST. PAUL The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) will present its 2021 LEAP Leadership Conference July 16-17 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center/Sioux Falls Sheraton in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The Farm Bureau LEAP Conference is designed to raise awareness of agriculture issues, provide advocacy tools and enhance networks, leadership skills and professional development.

KEARNEY, NEB. – Four finalists in the Young Farmers and Ranchers (YF&R) Discussion Meet contest have been named after competing in preliminary rounds during the 2021 Young Farmers and Ranchers Conference held Jan. 29-30 in Kearney.
Lance Atwater of Ary, Sean Krebs of Clearwater, Erin Norman of Crawford, and Clay Patton of Lexington advanced to the final round of the Nebraska Farm Bureau (NEFB) YF&R Discussion Meet to be held at the next NEFB Annual Convention, Dec. 5-7, 2021.
Krentz elected to American Farm Bureau Board

Kevin Krentz was elected to serve a one-year term on American Farm Bureau’s Board of Directors. Krentz was elected president of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation and Rural Mutual Insurance Company last month. Krentz is a dairy farmer from Berlin in Waushara County.
Krentz was first elected to the WFBF Board of Directors in 2012 to represent District 5, which includes: Adams, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Juneau, Marquette, Waushara and Winnebago counties.
Krentz started his farming career in 1994 when he purchased his father’s 60 cows. He grew the farm to 600 cows and 1,300 acres of crops. Kevin and his wife, Holly, have a daughter and three sons.
