A woman has been told she was a âtragedy waiting to happenâ after she was caught drink driving just weeks after facing court for a similar offence.
Shirley May Williams, 34, pleaded guilty in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Friday to driving over the general alcohol limit without a licence, driving while disqualified by court and driving an unregistered vehicle.
On March 28 police from Mount Morgan, near Rockhampton, were patrolling after being alerted to an unlicensed driver who was under the influence of alcohol.
At 5pm that afternoon they pulled over a car on Porters Rd at Baree which was being driven by Williams.

A man has pleaded with a magistrate not to record a conviction for assault so he could start his own MMA business.
Jake Timothy Whiteley pleaded guilty in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Monday to one count of assault occasioning bodily harm.
The court heard the victim was at a Caltex petrol station at Agnes Water on April 6 where he was approached by Whiteley while walking back to his car.
The pair were known to each other.
Whiteley punched the victim to his right eye causing him to fall and sustain bruising and scratches to his elbows and knees as well as a cut and black eye.
