BUTLER COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) - A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a car on Interstate 65 northbound in Butler County Wednesday afternoon, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency officials said.
ALEA officials said the incident happened at 3:46 p.m. near milepost 137 when a 2004 Mini Cooper hit a pedestrian while traveling north on I-65. The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital for immediate treatment.

NEW MIAMI, Ohio A police bomb squad responding to a suspicious package call at an Ohio church made an unexpected discovery: six newborn kittens and their mother inside a duffel bag.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office says its bomb squad was called to a church in New Miami on Thursday. When the responding officers heard purring instead of ticking coming from the black bag, they used their X-ray equipment to view what was inside.

The Butler County police bomb squad in Ohio was in for a pleasant and miraculous surprise when they got a call to investigate a suspicious package outside a church in a town called New Miami in the state.
Armed and equipped, they go to the church and found a black bag on the doorstep. However, when they came close to it, all they heard was the purring, instead of the usual clock ticking with a bomb! That was what surprised them. What took them aback was when they saw that the bag contained a mother cat along with her six kittens who were just a day old.
