9 & 10 News March 16, 2021 A Leelanau County winery is looking to donate to some local nonprofit groups, and needs your votes to pick the winners. MAWBY sparkling wines in Suttons Bay is kicking off their Green Giving campaign on Wednesday by donating a dollar of every bottle or glass of their green wine sold in store or online. The winery already selected the nonprofit LIFT Teen Center in Suttons Bay as one of the three recipients. Now, they need to decide the other two. It is between The Watershed Center, Justice for Our Neighbors, and The Women’s Resource Center. “We’re asking the community to help us select the other two for 2021. So we’re asking members of the community to vote. The top two charities will be selected, and the third place finisher will be chosen as a guaranteed 2022 partner,” said Mike Liang, Director of MAWBYness.
