AlamKulKul Boutique Resort wins the gold for going green

This year, AlamKulKul Boutique Resort in Legian, Bali, Indonesia, will be taking home the gold in recognition of its outstanding green efforts. The resort will claim its PATA Grand Award in the environment category at the Travel Mart awards ceremony on September 17 at the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel.
Jantung Hijau or Green Heart is an environmental awareness program first introduced to AlamKulKul Boutique Resort employees in early 2000. Every staff member was asked to bring a tree along to Family Day. Prizes were awarded for the most exotic species of native greenery. Every tree was later planted in the hotel grounds with each staff members’ name attached to it.
