Award Ceremony for the Contents on Korea-Bangladesh relation held Press Release 11th May, 2021 12:24:25 The Embassy of the Republic of Korea held an award ceremony at the Embassy for the winners of the “Contents Contest on Korea-Bangladesh Relations” on May 11. The ceremony was held on the occasion of an important diplomatic anniversary of Korea-Bangladesh relations. Among a number of participants in the contest, the first prize went to Tanjina Haque who presented a comprehensive survey of the Korea-Bangladesh ties for almost fifty years with many pieces of relevant photos and records. Other winners of the contests are Istinarah Surrat Nubah, Naimul Hasan, Reyad Hossain, Md Nuralam Mollah, Abdullah Al Mamun and Norul Isam.

Maldives foreign minister arrives in Dhaka Sun Online Desk 9th February, 2021 10:32:58 Foreign Minister of the Maldives Abdulla Shahid arrived in Dhaka on Monday night on a four-day official visit to Bangladesh, aiming to further strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries. He arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:15 pm. He will stay here until 11 February, said a press release. He came here at the invitation of his Bangladesh counterpart AK Abdul Momen. Abdulla Shahid is expected to pay courtesy calls on President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The two foreign ministers will hold a bilateral meeting today (Tuesday) to discuss issues of mutual interests covering the entire gamut of bilateral relations.

The other MoU is on cooperation between Bangladesh Foreign Service Academy and the Foreign Service Institute of Maldives. Expatriates’ Welfare Secretary Ahmed Munirus Saleheen signed the MoU on human resources placement while FSA Rector Syed Masud Mahmood Khundoker signed the other.
