Ulverston in Bloom and Incredible Edible volunteers meet in the town every Wednesday. Chair Kim Farr said: “We have broken records with 18 volunteers. “We have been busy litter picking, recycling plants from the winter tubs at Ulverston Victoria High School and taken them down to the planters in Buxton Place car park. “We want to thank to Brocklebanks who donated some extra plants. “On the day we also recycled daffodils from the planters on Queen Street and the bed outside Coronation Hall, then onto planting African Marigolds. With such a large team we have a great range of skills and knowledge.”
