Pa. girl, 15, hospitalized after being stabbed by teen boy: police

A teen girl is in the hospital after being stabbed Monday night by a 14-year-old boy, Allentown police said.
The boy was arrested soon after the attack and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment, police said.
The 15-year-old girl suffered a “serious injury” and was in stable condition at a local hospital, Assistant Chief Bill Lake said Tuesday morning.
Police found the wounded teen girl after being called for a reported stabbing at about 8:11 p.m. Monday in Bucky Boyle Park.
A description of the attacker matched a boy seen leaving the area on foot moments earlier, police said. Officers quickly located the 14-year-old suspect and the knife believed to have been used in the attack, police said.
