Man dies after getting pinned between truck, trailer at East Syracuse factory

East Syracuse, N.Y. A man was killed Wednesday morning when he was pinned between a truck and a trailer at an East Syracuse factory.
James Cowles, a Buckeye Corrugated Inc. employee, was found by another employee at 6:06 a.m. after the accident at the 1203 Kinne St. factory, the DeWitt Police Department said in a news release.
Cowles, 62, of Clay, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
So far, investigators have not found anyone who witnessed the accident. But police said it appears Cowles was detaching a tractor from a box trailer when he became pinned.

East Syracuse, N.Y. - A Clay man was killed in an early morning industrial accident.
62-year-old James Cowles was found by another employee pinned between a tractor cab and a detached box trailer.
The accident occurred at Buckeye Corrugated in East Syracuse.
Cowles was pronounced dead at the scene.
DeWitt Police are continuing the investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
