In Iqaluit, Joe Savikataaq, premier of Nunavut, and Dr. Michael Patterson, Nunavut’s chief medical officer of health, provide an update on the territory’s response to COVID-19 (coronavirus disease). The territory is expanding surveillance testing to residential buildings where more than one unit has had positive COVID-19 cases. Employees at Iqaluit’s Qajuqturvik Community Food Centre are being tested after a potential staff exposure. The territory is also announcing four new cases and five recoveries. (no interpretation)
