Colts made to rue missed chances as Bills march on

VAVEL USA January 11, 2021 1:07 AM ORCHARD PARK, NEW YORK - JANUARY 09: Stefon Diggs #14 reacts with Dawson Knox #88 of the Buffalo Bills after making a first-down reception during the second half of the AFC Wild Card playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts at Bills Stadium on January 09, 2021 in Orchard Park, New York. (Photo by Timothy T Ludwig/Getty Images) Despite a phenomenal season from the 13-3 Buffalo Bills, they weren’t their usual selves in a surprisingly-close matchup with the 11-5 Indianapolis Colts in the wildcard round of the NFL playoffs. While the Colts were down eleven points at one stage, they would not die against an excellent Bills team, consistently coming back within just a few points of the hosts. But when the game was on the line, on a ‘Hail Mary’ attempt into the end-zone, the Colts came up just short.

Lack of Fans Hurt Steelers, Seahawks

By Michael Lingard Jan 11, 2021 Dan Patrick believes the lack of home field advantage the Steelers and Seahawks normally enjoy may have cost them over the weekend. Dan postulates that fans truly make a difference and, while the Steelers and Seahawks may not have won, it’s easy to see how things could have been different with raucous crowds filling their stadiums. These teams have come to rely on their fans so much that losing them entirely puts them at a severe disadvantage.
