Schepis, 45, of Meadowbrook Drive passed away on Saturday July 31, 2021 in East Waterboro. He was born in Bridgeport, Conn. on Feb. 23, 1976, the son of Robert and Yvonne (Charland) Schepis.He attended local schools in Connecticut and graduated from Naugatuck High School. Mark then graduated from Naugatuck Valley Community College. Mark moved to Maine in 1998 and to East Waterboro in 2005.He was employed by Bottomline Technologies for 21 years as a Director of Support. He had a positive attitude, worked as a team player and pushed for constant improvement. Mark had a contagious personality and everyone who met him fell in love with him. The second-year NVCC student for the past 16 months has gone to school and lived on her own. She’s also worked as a certified nursing assistant and at a pizzeria to help pay off student debt and apartment rent. “It’s mentally exhausting,” Del Obre said. “I’m dehydrated and restless, but what else can you do?”

Reply Naugatuck Valley Community College Partnership with Northwest Regional Workforce Investment Board to Support Development of Information Technology Talent Pipeline WATERBURY, CT - Connecticut Workforce & High-Tech Industry Skills Partnership (CT-WHISP) is looking for potential students to support the development and expansion of a talent pipeline of Connecticut workers in Information Technology (IT). Naugatuck Valley Community College in partnership with the Northwest Regional Workforce Investment Board is offering grant-funded, short-term (15 weeks) IT course clusters aligned with industry certifications and supportive services as part of this initiative. Clusters include Networking, Programming, Systems, Software and Project Management. Each IT cluster has been mapped to Microsoft and/or CompTIA certifications.
