The movie industry was thrown into a fresh round of mourning when a popular actor and singer, Ernest Asuzu, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2020. According to reports, the singer collapsed that evening and never woke up.
Asuzu began his acting career in the nineties and rose to prominence after he starred in the 1997 film, ‘Rituals’. Aside from acting, Asuzu was also a musician with the stage name, El Cream.
Confirming Asuzu’s demise on his Instagram page on Wednesday, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, wrote, “On a sad note, we announce the demise of our member and colleague, Ernest Asuzu, who passed away on Tuesday, January 26.
