Norma M Johnson RN

Norma M. Johnson, RN, 93, of Nanticoke, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. Born May 30, 1928, in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late Narcis and Katherine Novak Zabiegalski. She was a graduate of Nanticoke High School, class of 1946, and received her nursing training at Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, becoming a registered nurse in 1950. Norma began her career at Nanticoke State Hospital from 1950 to 1955 and was a psychiatric nurse at the former Retreat State Hospital from 1955 to 1970, retiring due to an injury. She later was a Family Living Provider for the Mentor of Northeastern PA agency, providing loving care for children in her home for many years.

His actions come amid stronger statements from President Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi about the governor’s political future, and a sexual harassment scandal. Cuomo says he wanted to receive the Johnson and Johnson vaccine at a popup site at a black church in Harlem, to help combat vaccine hesitancy among some in the African-American community.
