Achilleas Kanaris, CEO Vodafone Albania, has been appointed Vodafone Romania’s CEO, effective July 1, 2021, and will report to Serpil Timuray, CEO Europe Cluster. Nedim Baytorun is replacing Mostafa El-Beltagy who ends his mandate. El-Beltagy joined Vodafone Romania in March 2018. Some of the most important projects of Vodafone Romania in the past years are linked to his name: the first 5G commercial launch in Romania, Vodafone Flex – the first full-fledged digital subscription on the market, Vodafone Club – the new loyalty program for customers, the platforms and projects that consolidated Vodafone’s position as a social responsible brand – “Together we leave no kid behind” and “Together we are stronger” initiatives.
