THE multi-million pound revamp of Colchester’s old Co-op department store has moved one step closer to completion, with the new modern apartments now available for let. A total of 24 one and two-bed apartments have been created as part of the East of England Co-op’s £5.5 million development, in Long Wyre Street, Colchester. The completed revamp will also feature two retail and five restaurant units, whilst two of the homes will be available at affordable rents as part of a partnership with Colchester Borough Homes.
