Long Beach Gives is open to nonprofits serving residents of the city that have at least two years of tax-exempt status. The organizations that participate are offered over a dozen training sessions in marketing and fundraising campaigns leading up to the Sept. 23 Long Beach Gives event.
This year’s training sessions are built around attracting online donors, organizers said. The sessions will also offer nonprofits a chance to connect with each other virtually, Christina Kreachbaum, program manager at The Nonprofit Partnership Program, said in a statement.
More information on eligibility, participant requirements, the selection process, and the online application can be found here. Nonprofits are asked to attend a virtual information session from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 12, or from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, to learn about Long Beach Gives. The sessions will have translation for Spanish and Khmer speakers.
