Fighting for Free Speech
The Liberals’ Bill C-10 is a serious threat to freedom of expression, which could give the government the power to regulate what Canadians post on the internet. That’s why Conservatives halted its progress through Parliament and sent it for a Charter review, and why we have called on the Prime Minister to withdraw the Bill.
Conservatives will continue to fight this dangerous Bill. And if the Liberals pass C-10, a Conservative government will repeal it.

In what is becoming a regular occurrence on the House committee circuit, PROCEDURE AND HOUSE AFFAIRS members will retreat behind closed doors to go over the scope and, where applicable, limitations of parliamentary privilege and cabinet secrecy this time, in relation to internal data on the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy.
