Shirley Mae Hurt Davie, 80, died Saturday, July 10, 2021, at her residence of natural causes. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021, at Durrett Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Hurt officiating. Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery. There will be a Walk Thru visitation Friday, noon until time of service at the Church. Masks are required. Gamble Funeral Home is charge of arrangements. Born in Pembroke, KY on March 28, 1941, daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Duncan Hurt. Shirley was a member of Durrett Avenue Baptist Church. She served as a member of the Mass Choir, Carnation Club, head of the Culinary Arts, Health Aids and one of the designated Chaperone for the Youth Activities.
