New Project Proposes Solutions for Water Resources, Water Use, and Water Management
Written by AZoCleantechMay 19 2021
The availability and sustainable management of water as well as safe sanitation for all are important goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

To this end, the TRUST project developed concepts that combine research and practical knowledge from the natural, engineering, and social sciences and involve those affected at the local and regional levels. The final report, which is now available, results in five theses and a total of 20 recommendations for water resources, water use, and water management.

A community fridge is an ordinary refrigerator like the many Nanni has tested, but it’s not installed in somebody’s kitchen. Rather, it is kept somewhere where the public can readily access it, often just out on the sidewalk or near a popular restaurant or store, and stocked by organized community groups or sometimes by individual volunteers with fresh food
