Hosted by K104 radio personality and DJ Mr. Hit Dat, the Juneteenth Hip-Hop Festival at the Curtis Culwell Center brings chart-topping musicians, including Lil Durk and Yung Bleu, to town. Presented by T3 Entertainment, the lineup also includes Pooh Shiesty and Mooski.

The coronavirus pandemic shut down Park City 12 months ago.
Through those 52 weeks, the town’s four biggest performing arts nonprofits the Egyptian Theatre, Park City Institute, Park City Beethoven Festival and Mountain Town Music found ways to keep themselves in the public eye and, most importantly, stay afloat.
While all canceled most of their programming, Mountain Town Music found a different way to bring live music to a small crowd through its Door 2 Door tour, and the Park City Institute and the Park City Beethoven Festival turned to virtual programming.
The Egyptian Theatre, on the other hand, went dark to preserve resources but, like the others, is finding ways to come back.
The venue is a stage built by Asolo Repertory Theatre out in front of the FSU Center for the Performing Arts, the home to both organizations, and a really pleasant spot to watch an hour’s worth of dance. The seats are well spaced out, and everyone wears a mask. The 6 p.m. start time means the sun slowly fades from the sky as the evening progresses.
On the sold-out weekend program, which runs through Monday, is a grab-bag of excerpts: the “Friends’ Dance” from “Coppélia”; a demonstration of male technique by Christopher Hird, head of the Trainee program; an ensemble from “Swan Lake”; another ensemble, from “Le Corsaire”; a male duet from a 2015 piece, “Choke,” by Dwight Roden, director of Complexions Contemporary Ballet. It concludes with a full performance of Graziano’s “Fiera de Castro.”
