New York, Feb 16 : The United Nations said on Tuesday that lack of proper infrastructure planning is hurting Covid-19 recovery, climate action and sustainable development goals (SDGs).
In a new publication, it is calling on countries to vastly overhaul the way governments build and maintain infrastructure, everything from water and sanitation systems to energy grids to transportation facilities, in order to reduce waste and costs, improve delivery of essential public services and ensure a sustainable future for all.
