Free COVID-19 saliva testing in Lafayette Jan 8 | News, Sports, Jobs

Dec 31, 2020 LAFAYETTE Nicollet County Health and Human Services and the Minnesota Department of Health will offer COVID-19 testing on Friday, Jan. 8, at the Nicollet County Garage (across the street from the Lafayette Community Center) from 12 to 6 p.m. Testing is free and available to anyone who wants to be tested. The goal of this testing event is to offer free COVID-19 saliva testing following the holidays, which may have included traveling and visiting family for some households. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends get tested three to five days after travel to help reduce community transmission of the virus.
